A modern auction house website that puts the client in control

Parkers Fine Art Auctions needed a website that reflected the quality of its business and made life easier for both visitors and the team behind the scenes. The project replaced an outdated WordPress site with a bespoke Webflow website, giving buyers and sellers clearer routes to auctions, previous sales and valuation enquiries.

The previous WordPress website looked dated, lacked images, and was difficult for the team to update. Managing auction information and adding new content was more complicated than it needed to be, while some existing features were unreliable or hard to use.

The brief was to create a more contemporary, professional experience without losing the character expected of a fine art auction house. Just as importantly, the team needed to keep auction and artwork information up to date themselves, without relying on a developer for routine changes.

I rebuilt the website in Webflow with a clean, considered design that gives the artwork room to shine and presents the auction house with greater clarity and confidence.

Behind the scenes, I structured a bespoke CMS around the team’s day-to-day work. They can add and remove auctions, update artwork and feature recently sold pieces without wrestling with their old WordPress setup. The site also gives visitors clearer routes to upcoming auctions, previous sales and valuation information.

The result is a fully responsive website designed to be straightforward for visitors to use and practical for the team to maintain.

Parkers Fine Art Auctions now has a website that better reflects its business and does more of the day-to-day work the team needs it to do.

The team can manage upcoming auctions, keep featured artwork and recent sales up to date, and make routine content changes in-house. Buyers and sellers have a clearer way to find the information they need, while the refreshed design presents the auction house in a more modern, professional light.
