A modern Webflow website that gives Midland Metrology room to grow
Website strategy, content creation, sitemap and product restructuring, bespoke responsive Webflow development and CMS configuration
Introduction
Midland Metrology wanted to replace its ageing WordPress website with a modern, easy-to-use site that better represented the business and its products. The brief covered both a new design and the written page content needed to explain its offering more clearly.
The Old Website

The Challenge
The previous website dated from around 2016, although its design looked considerably older, and had become difficult for the office team to manage. Product information was poorly organised, with many pages containing very little meaningful content, limiting their potential to perform in search results.
The website was failing the business on two fronts: it struggled to attract visitors through search engines, while those who did arrive were faced with an unclear structure and a confusing product range that made finding the right information unnecessarily difficult.
The Approach & Solution
I reworked the sitemap and product categories to give the website a significantly clearer structure, then created new content to present the business and its products more effectively.
The bespoke Webflow design uses the company's familiar blue branding, generous white space and contemporary typography. Much of the content is CMS-driven, allowing the office team to update product information and other website content without working directly on page layouts.

The Outcome
Midland Metrology now has a fresher, more coherent website that presents its products and expertise more clearly. Visitors can navigate the reorganised range more easily, while the office team has a simpler way to keep the site up to date.
