A clearer customer journey and a website that costs less to maintain
Website review and conversion strategy, bespoke Webflow design and development, customer journey planning, content presentation and CMS setup
Introduction
Bellagio Marble Ideas already had a good-looking WordPress website, but it wasn’t generating enough enquiries. Even small website changes could take weeks to action, while the annual maintenance fees were substantial. The brief was to create a website that worked harder for the business and put routine updates back in the team’s hands.
The Old Website

The Challenge
The original design looked polished, but there were too many competing buttons and links, making it difficult for visitors to follow a clear route towards an enquiry. The site also did little to distinguish between homeowners and commercial customers or communicate the breadth of the company’s craftsmanship.
The client was understandably reluctant to invest in another website. However, the savings from moving away from their expensive WordPress maintenance arrangement meant the rebuild was expected to pay for itself within 18 months.
The Approach & Solution
I rebuilt the website in Webflow, simplifying the navigation and reducing competing calls to action so visitors could explore the company’s work without being overwhelmed by choices. Clearer routes for residential and commercial customers help each audience find information relevant to their project.
New photography puts the craftsmanship front and centre, showing that Bellagio Marble Ideas does far more than supply granite worktops, from a single kitchen island to complete commercial restaurant fit-outs.
The Webflow setup also allows the team to make routine content changes themselves rather than waiting weeks for a developer.

The Outcome
The finished website is easier to navigate, presents the company’s capabilities more clearly and gives the team direct control over its content.
More than 18 months after the move, Bellagio Marble Ideas has recouped the cost of the rebuild through reduced maintenance fees and is now saving thousands of pounds annually!
